Thunderbird car 19742/28/2024 As the Ford LTD II replaced the Torino, the Thunderbird replaced the Elite. For the 1977 model year, as both cars were redesigned, the Thunderbird was split from the Continental Mark V. During the 1970s, this led to the latter car becoming heavy and expensive in comparison to competition from Chrysler and General Motors. Since Lincoln reintroduced the Continental Mark series in 1969, it had shared common engineering and underpinnings with the Thunderbird. Development and production history 1978 Ford Thunderbird The styling of its unique wrapover roofline would carry over in smaller versions of Ford automobiles such as the 1978–1983 Ford Fairmont Futura and the Mercury Zephyr Z-7 coupes which were originally designed as Fairmont-based downsized Thunderbird proposals. Helped by a US$2,700 drop in price from 1976, over 318,000 were sold in 1977 and 352,000 in 1978 (the best single sales year in Thunderbird history), followed by 295,000 in 1979. The squarer, sharper styling was popular, as this generation became the best selling in the history of the Ford Thunderbird. Rather than being the traditional Ford counterpart of the Continental Mark V, the Thunderbird would share the chassis with the Mercury Cougar and the Ford LTD II before the Ford Fox platform version was introduced for 1980. In a key marketing shift for the model range, Ford repackaged the Thunderbird from a full-size car to an intermediate car, and ceded its full-size luxury coupe status to the Ford LTD Landau coupe. The guy that sold a T-Bird probably smoked a cigar on his way home from work that day.The seventh generation of the Ford Thunderbird is a personal luxury car that was built by Ford from the 1977 to the 1979 model years. The ’74 Thunderbird was still a bright spot in Ford showrooms simply due to margins – the Bird started at $7,221, while the next highest car, the Country Squire wagon, started at $4,827. The lower end ’73 Bird buyer traded for a ’77 Cutlass Supreme while the high end ’73 Bird buyer and the ’73 Mark IV buyer went for a ’77 Mark V – which of course sold in wildly successful numbers. What I see in this is the trend where after OPEC I, those that remained large car buyers gravitated to high end cars, keeping their numbers selling quite well, while those buying lower priced large cars began looking for more fuel economy. I was a bit surprised to find that the early T-Birds as clones of the Mark IV actually sold quite well, and outsold the Mark IV by a wide margin in some years. JP, I started out looking for if the Toronado and Riviera were suffering at the hands of the Eldorado in the same way that the Thunderbird did to the Mark IV. If you were in the market in ’74, would you “Make a Little Thunder of Your Own”? People didn’t hold on to cars as long back then, especially image conscious personal luxury buyers. If he was from the Greatest Generation, he was possibly trading in a 70 Bunkie Bird, or even a ’64 Flair Bird if he was a bit of tightwad. He wanted bang for his buck, and really longed for a Mark IV, but couldn’t quite swing the monthlies what with saving up for his future Gen X offspring’s college fund. Maybe an engineer, but didn’t those guys buy Toronados? Probably not an innovative or creative person. His career was probably one of the usual professional fields, doctor, lawyer, dentist, or a mid level manager. He was interested in keeping up with the Jones, and not concerned with keeping that 21 gallon gas tank filled at 10 MPG or whatever these parade floats managed in the real world. Definitely not an ex-hippie, but a member of Boomer or Greatest Generation class, in their prime earning years. Pretty successful, given that the T-bird had a base price of $7,221 (that’s almost $35K in 2015 dollars). I can picture the guy Ford is targeting in 1974. I do love browsing YouTube for old car commercials.

Boob shapes east west2/28/2024 The extra gap can make it challenging to fill out tops and dresses. Side set breasts are set further apart with more space between them. Not all breasts are centered on your torso. These designs provide the lift needed with a bit of added shape to flaunt pretty much any top or dress. T-shirt bras, balconettes, and molded cups can be ideal for the slender shape. However, you can also consider a bra that can provide a little shape as well. This breast type can also benefit from a little upward lift. They lack a rounder shape, and the nipples tend to point down. Unlike the teardrop breast, slender breasts are long and narrow. Push-up bras can provide these ta-tas with some extra oomph, and a little added padding can even them out. Some additional support underneath can hoist up teardrop breasts and give them the support they need. The best bra to fit this breast type would be anything that provides extra lift. These round-shaped breasts are fuller at the bottom with a narrower top. Teardrop breasts are much like normal breasts, but with a few slight differences. Here are some of the most common breast shapes and the best bras for them. If you are wondering what type of breast shape you have, we have you covered. Weight, physical activity, age, pregnancy, and breastfeeding can all determine breast shape. As our bodies grow and change, the breasts we are born with do also. While bras are typically created to fit this standard, there are so many other types available, and the type you are blessed with depends on your genetic makeup and lifestyle. While this is a common shape, it’s not the only shape. If there is a standard across all types, a breast is round, full, and with a pointed nipple. There are various boob shapes that a body can have, and every one of them is normal. By clicking on one of them, you will display, as much as possible depending on the developer, the details of the update such as the new version number, the date, and size of the update, as well as the list of changes. The left-hand column will list all the apps that might be updated. It regularly checks for available updates of your apps, whether they were installed from the Mac App Store or not. This comes in handy when you are trying to eliminate obsolete applications.Īs I indicated in the opening paragraph, TrashMe can do a lot more. Besides favorites and unused (apps you haven’t used recently), there is also an unsupported category. Above the list on the left, there is the means to filter the apps. Finally, click on the “Uninstall” button at the bottom right to move all the files to the Trash. Check this list carefully and optionally uncheck those that do not seem to be related to the app or those that you want to keep. On the right side, TrashMe displays the files related to whichever app is chosen. If you choose all the apps, then TrashMe takes a few seconds to scan and then list, on the left, all the apps it found. When I want to delete an app, I simply drag and drop it on the alias. I made an alias of TrashMe which I keep on my desktop. It is possible to drag and drop one or more apps on the uninstall window, or on the TrashMe Dock icon, or on the initial TrashMe Dashboard. You can opt to list all the apps installed on your computer or more easily select a specific app. There are several options available to you in terms of how to select the application to delete. After reviewing the displayed files, you can then choose to delete them to clean uninstall the app. TrashMe will find almost all related files for an app. This leads to wasted space on your computer. Most apps end up creating a lot of related files, such as temporary files, caches, settings, etc… Those files are not removed when you just put an app in the Trash. The principal purpose for TrashMe is to completely delete an application from your drive. Female highland cow2/27/2024 The Highland cow is not just superbly adapted to life in the tough climate. Female Highland cows have longer, thicker. The horns grow differently in males and females, with the bulls being thicker. A Highland cattle’s horns can be made of either of two classical forms. A Highland cow with a large horn is known as a Heilian coo in Scots and a Boadhhealach in Gaelic. Average calving interval is 391 days, and. Semi-wild Highland cattle heifers first give birth at 2 or 3 years of age, and the timing of birth is synchronized with increases in natural food quality. The female horn is curvier, shorter, and thinner. Colloquially, young female cattle (heifers), young male cattle, and castrated male cattle (steers) are also referred to as 'cows'. Difference between males and females Bulls are mature males used for breeding, whereas a cow is a female that has had at least one calf. However, a group of Highland cattle is known as a fold named after the open shelters they’re kept in over winter. I also think it’s a great idea to take inspiration from comedy with these 80 funny cow names. Male Highland cows have horns that are wider and longer than female Highland cows. The collective name for a group of cows is usually a herd. But if you want to go “aĬows are among the gentlest of creatures, and these cute cow names I think suit there nature. The cattle are normally black and white in colour but there are smaller numbers in grey, red and dun. Since the beginning of the 20th century, the species has been exported worldwide, primarily to North America and Australia. There are so many names for cows to choose from. The Shetland, known natively in the Scots language as Shetland kye is a small, hardy Scottish breed of cattle from the Shetland Islands to the north of mainland Scotland. Nowadays, however, the difference between these two types has disappeared because of crossbreeding. These animals were dun or red in color and larger due to pastures, providing them with the required nutrients. According to the book, the other type was mainland cattle. A Highland Females Horns: These are narrower at the base, longer and finer at the tip than those of a bull. The West Highland cattle were relatively smaller with black coats and long hair, as a result of living in harsher conditions. It says that one was the West Highland, or Kyloe, brought from the Western Isles. These two types are described in the herd book, written in 1885. Known as Highland cattle, these cuddly-looking creatures don. You wouldn’t normally describe a cow as warm and fuzzy, but there's one breed that defies stereotypes with its distinctively long, textured hair. Ecamm phoneview reviews2/27/2024 Your Mac should reflect the messages that are sent back and forth from the Messages app on your iOS devices (if not, make sure that you're using the same Apple ID on all devices and the Mac). There's one more really easy way for Mac users to back up iMessages. Once again, you'll need some way of opening the database files to be able to read the messages, although I did notice that just looking at the chat.db file in TextEdit did make it possible to read all of the messages that were buried in a pile of other meaningless garble. Inside are all of the images and other attachments that were sent to you in those messages, so your cat GIFs are saved for posterity. Those contain all of the messages - both SMS and iMessages - and the same folder also contains an Attachments folder that contains hidden treasures. Here, I went to Library > Messages and found a completely up-to-date set of three databases: chat.db, chat.db-shm, and chat.db-wal. I also found the text message files in another place on my Mac, and they were much more up-to-date since I do a lot of iMessage chatting on that machine. If you're using iCloud for iPhone (or iPad or iPod touch) backup, then you're not going to have access to that file. This, of course, assumes that you are using iTunes and a USB connection to sync and back up your iPhone, which many people do NOT do. Leswing suggests Ecamm's PhoneView app (US$29.95) for Mac or CopyTrans (US$19.99) for PC, but if you just want a copy of the file, you know where to find it and can just copy it to an external drive. However, you'll need some way of opening the file and parsing the messages hidden within. On a Windows PC, you'll find that file in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming. On a Mac it's in Library > Application Support > Mobile Sync > Backup, in the cryptically-named file 3d0d7e5fb2ce288813306e4d4636395e047a3d28.mddata (to view your Library from the Finder, hold down the Option key while clicking the Go menu - Library will appear between Home and Computer). Wired's Kif Leswing looked into a few methods for backing up iPhone text messages, and we have a few tips of our own as well.įirst, Leswing notes that the SQLite database containing all of those messages is stored on your computer. Think about wanting to keep a personal memory of a friend or relative who died suddenly, or the importance of keeping threatening texts from someone, and you'll see why it's important to have a way to do this. Whether it's for personal or legal reasons, you may want to back up text messages - both SMS and iMessage. AuthorWrite something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
